"Well ducks,do you know of a judge that would place a six month old minor puppy bitch above CH.Keelover, CH.Dollarshite,Mr Blobby,Travs Madasucango,Flantasa Emerald Intruder and every other dog except the imp Quickasucankom."he stated "Well "I said "no judge worth his salt would do such a thing.It cannot be that handsome Howie Monkeygland as I have just read his article and how he will not judge on the stand but really works the dogs to bring out their working qualities.Obviously a 6 month old bitch is too young to be worked with its growing bones care should be taken." "You are totally wrong ducks " he replied "At ECRC show Monkygland gave the reserve ticket to the one with the shapley backend and well angulated upper thigh with a good well developed chest and an inviting smile and two legs. I cant comment on the puppy dog being dragged around the ring as it was exhausted. Well this puppy with the reserve ticket challenged the minor puppy bitch for best puppy in show.Without hesitation and without running her to assess movement, Monkeygland gave her BPIS. THUS MAKING HER BETTER THAN ALL OTHER DOGS(CC winner excepted) Well blow me down with a rottys undocked tail,I have just read Monkeygland stating he is all for tails on rotts, so watch out for his new litters and see if he is a man of his word .Certainly his last litter being shown must have all been born without tails! My My said Mr C.you aint seen nothing yet.Let me tell you about the bitch judge Bren Tippytoes. The only judge that can judge into the sun with her hands over her eyes because she didnt need to see the dogs only the handlers. Why not move the line up to the other side of the ring to have the sun behind you? Every class without exception the faces were pulled out.The bitch C.C. was ok but the reserve was another case of the breeder Sharon Brewn handling for the unknown owner. I am most upset to hear that a shortarse is going around calling the Flying Waistcoat Mr.C. This is an insult to my better half and I will try and keep it from him, because he is easily upset.Good luck to Earth Wind and Arse on Fire but why withdraw from the open class at ECRC? Mr C. always rushes to pickup the mail,sits down with his Horlicks and reads out loud the best bits in Dog World.--August 11.--Mr C.asked me to ring Pawla Trouble to see if she would accept block bookings for "PELT SEZLES WITH A WET SPONGE" at the SW open show on 28Aug. If she will ;then he will organise a coach with pick up points all down the service stations on the M6 & M5, bring your own sponge! Better still why not have a practice the week before at the Breed Council AGM.(20 Aug).Where once again SezLes will challenge the committe on changing the constitution at an ordinary meeting when it can only be changed at the A.G.M.unless of course you are L.P. Incidently for the last 2 years no ponies have been at East of Eng. Show, so if LP has been looking at the ponies it begs the question can he tell the difference between a pony and a rottweiler? How come ducks that Geoff Collins who judged at Leeds this year, can get his critique in the press within 3 weeks,and yet we are still waiting for most to be printed! Also JoJo Yates says in black and white that she bemoans the deterioration of the head but goes on to place dogs with bad heads(her words"behind the collar really liked the dog")So next time she judges, all dogs to wear paper bags over their heads? Dog World 18 Aug Breed Notes. Once again Sezles agrees with my comments about the judging at ECRC,in his column he slags off the judges but then carries on to agree with Alison Fletchers comments "rubbish is printed on the internet".Well no different to the rubbish printed in the breed notes! I wonder if next weeks notes will criticise the SWRC Presidents judging at Bournemouth Yes ducks Presido Terrible Thorn looked after his two committee members, Joe Prouse-3 dogs entered-3 3rds Pawla Trouble 2 dogs entered+1 handled -1st,2nd and a 3rd.Well done not My my how did the faces do.Lets see; Frau Smitt--3 dogs--1st,2nd,vhc Doubleglazed Window--2dogs-1st,3rd Blonde Kerl bob and bos--2 tickets Drowell 3rd,2 1sts handling Flying waistcoats 1st,2 reserves So ducks out of 14 1st places 11 went to faces the other 3 I cant comment about but even so what chance for joe public! no chance. Mr C. said "ducks my gammy leg hurts so much I must see a specialist" I replied" why not visit the same one as Sezles,because the way he was running around the ring at the ECRC its hard to believe the rumour that he cancelled a judging apointment in Ireland to go into hospital the other daywith a bad knee." SPONGE FIGHT AT THE B.C. CORRAL It was wet sponges at noon for the Breed Clanton Gang at the A.G.M. last sunday.The delegates waited in vain for Wyatt Twerp and Deputy Dawg. As the clock struck 12 everyones fingers twitched on the dripping sponges. But all in vain as a telegram arrived by Pony Express "Sorry partners there's gold in them there hills, so we are off to do some prospecting; carry on without us! But remember there's always a man faster on the draw than you are, and the more you use a sponge, the sooner your gonna run into that man. See ya all at SW Corral on Bank Holiday Monday" LAST BUT ONE SHOW IN AUGUST WELSH KENNEL SAT 19 AUGUST HALLELU'JAH STUART MALLARD brought a breath of fresh air to the Rottweiler Ring. This is a judge who knows his rottweilers and is no stranger to good movement.Numerous dogs whose owners are kennel blind and only get placed under "mates" were unplaced. Unfortunately it was unwise for him to have a lunch break as he was unable to give as much time to the bitches because the group judging was at 4pm. BOB Barri Oirish had a mad rush to get to the ring,but he won the working group so was well pleased. What a delight to open Dog World 5 days later and find no report on the Breed Council AGM.But a comprehensive critique by S.Mallard on the WKC .Well if he can get to press so soon why are we still waiting for numerous critiques.The Kennel Club should enforce a new rule "NO FUTHER JUDGING APPOINTMENTS UNTILL YOUR LAST SHOW CRITIQUE HAS BEEN PUBLISHED" watch the rush then! I see Keelover has been winning on the circuit in Oirland with a Working group 3 at Clonmel. Mr C. is busy loading up the van for Scotty land,rotts on Sunday with Mrs Pillsbury,I dont expect the Schmitts have entered!as she used to be their runner.As I will be stewarding in another ring I hope I'm not too far away still if only 80 dogs turn up it should be over by morning tea break. Nominations are required for the "ROTTWEILER BIG BROTHER DAY" The rules will be 8 judges/exhibitors locked in a room for the duration of a show on 5 Nov. There will be a simple task to do. Every half hour all exhibitors will vote one out from the nominations inside. the winner will be the one remaining. THE SCOTTISH KC 27 Aug.---------------------------------------- Why do the Welsh and the Scottish think we should be benched in a cattle shed.We should have reduced fees. I was amazed to see the Smitts turn up as Mrs Pillmorse was their runner.I hope it was more than 12 months ago as if you handle a dog you are not allowed to judge it! However she obviously remembered Lionhead well because she could remember how he could run before he was limping, and judged him for his previous movement,as Dave HipHop had the better moving dog on the day! Any way dog C.C. Smitts Lionhead, best puppy Smitts yjjifkj? Also well placed Feernwud Yvonne, Xtasey and Pearl. Also not far behind Liz Blonde Kerl,now then does Elaine breed Japanese Shiba Inu ?-does a dog bark?
