Butch Cassidy Now Butch was no killer but he led and rode with the hole in the wall gang which had those cold eyed killers Kid Curry and the Sundance Kid. There's no denying he was good at his trade of bankrobbin' but eventually he had to flee the states when things got too hot. After that the Pinkerton's reported sightings of him and Sundance in Bolivia and Argentina. It was said that the two of them were killed in a shoot out. Then again others say that Butch escaped and came home and settled down. People say a lot of things so i guess we'll never know. |

Jesse James Jesse James got a taste for cold blooded killing and bankrobbing when, at the age of 17, he rode with his brother Frank with Quantrill's raiders during the civil war. Afterwards he was an outlaw and so naturally continued his trade. To some he was a Robin Hood figure and many people sheltered him. Some of these were kin but he abandoned some of his own men after the failure of the Northfield Minnesota raid. Not long after he was shot from behind in his own living room as he adjusted a picture. |

John Wesley Hardin "John Wesley Hardin was a friend to the poor" or so the song goes but in reality Hardin was a killer pure and simple. a gunman, who had a quick draw, he killed around 20 men.Eventually he was tried for the murder of a sherriff and sentenced to 25 years hard labour. He was parolled after 16 years and returned to the gambling saloons of his youth but his trigger finger was not what it used to be and he was shot in the back of the head by another sherriff who hated him. He was 41 years old. |
