My name is Jayne Courts and I am proprietor and Principal Consultant at History Detectives. I left Nottingham University, England in 1993 with a B.A (Hons) Degree in Historical Studies and American Studies but then was at a loss as to what I could do with it apart from teach. It was then that the idea of becoming a History Detective came to mind. Since that time I have been trying to build up interest in this project from outside agencies but with little success so I've decided to go it alone! I now head a team of fully trained consultants in based in Derby, England. |

I do have other interests besides history though so never fear - you won't find my page full of boring history bits and little else. I am fascinated by all things 'alternative' and have a passion for 'witchcrafty' things (perhaps I should add 'spells cast' to the motto!) you will find my favourite 'alternative' links listed.
