Well the Easter Egg Hunt turned out to be an extremely original idea -
due to the fact that it had no eggs! After cunningly hiding 30 snake
eggs around Qeynos and meeting with the members who decided to enter
(Quite a small turnout) I began the competition but the entrants could find no eggs. After the initial shock of the disaster I decided on the fly to change the competition to a Fire Beetle Eye Hunt. Entrants had 20 mins to get hold of as many eyes as possible and return with them for me to count. The winner of the competition was Meyot with 128 eyes. In second place with 40 eyes was Aaelnron. And coming up in third place was Padaan one of our newest members. Well done to you all and hope you enjoyed the prizes. Over the next few weeks I will be planning another competition, I'll keep you posted. Happy Easter.

Special note: Due to circumstances beyond my control....namely that I'm going out for a major piss up and leaving do for my friend Paul who is joining the Territorial Army, the competition has to be posponed until Monday night/Tuesday morning at same time 1am (UK time), either 5 or 6pm in the US. First of all I would like to announce an EASTER GUILD COMPETITION which will be held this Saturday at 1am UK time (That should be either 5/6pm if you're in the US). The competition will be an Easter Egg Hunt! I will hide many eggs around Qeynos in top secret locations. It is your task to find as many as you can over 20 minutes. The meeting point for those wishing to participate will be the pool in North Qeynos next to the Clanhouse (Monk Guild). If you find any eggs you must also tell me the exact location you found them in so that I know they are genuine eggs. There will be a main prize and runners up prizes also. All members and officers are invited to participate. You can work as a group if you like but the prize will have to be split so it's not really worth it. Hope to see you there!

enjoying being part of The Falcons Claw. Our numbers are ever growing. If you have any friends who would also like to join then they are very welcome, just ask an officer or myself.
A special thanks to Dedilus, Geeleb, Aaeanlron and Journ for helping me get back my corpse from The Warrens last night. Those gangs of kobolds sure do hurt!

Nice to see more of you who were there at the forming of the guild have now been able to join the guild. After the Officer meeting I decided to perform last night the Guild Roles have been altered. For the time being they have also been filled by my most highly respected Officers. In the future these roles may be passed on to other Officers or new oppurtunities may become available. So everyone say hello to my new Commanders - Anim, Finrir, Dedilus and Grelin. My Meeting Advisor and Quest Advisor is Ronthejanitor. Grelin is my Raid Advisor. Finrir/Dedilus is also Guild Treasurer and Master at Arms. For descriptions of these roles and the duties that these members will be performing for The Falcons Claw, go to the Guild Roles page. All guild members are to acknowledge these Officers and recognise their roles within the Guild. My decision is final unless I choose to change it later, so please do not argue my choices.
Soon I will start organising events and things, please be patient as I finish recruiting the initial numbers. All Officers will now confer with me if they are asked to recruit anyone, so if you know someone who would like to join it is best to speak directly to me.

The Falcons Claw has begun! Thankyou to all members who were present for the forming of the guild. It sure did take a long time but it was worth it. Thanks for your patience in waiting for the guide to show up at Qeynos Gate. Also the chaos that ensued with getting the charter approved in the chat window was more than a little crazy! But eventually on the evening of 25/03/2001 I met a GM at the crossroads in Qeynos Hills. He was a squat dwarf clad in green armour weilding two daggers. After several seconds he had formed the guild and I started recruiting members (You know who you are!) Anyone not yet a member should send a tell immediately and then meet me or a guild officer for recruitment. The initial officers recruited are as follows: Ronthejanitor, Grelin, Dedilus and Jermey. Anim and Octis will also become Officers once they are recruited.
Take a look at the other new page detailing Guild Roles. Once I have recruited most or all of the initial members (There are many of you not yet recruited - come and see me) then I will announce oppurtunities for the following positions: Raid Advisor, Meeting Advisor, Quest Advisor, Guild Lawkeepers. Initially there will be 3 Lawkeeper positions open, although in future as guild numbers increase, more oppurtunities will be made available. New officers will be chosen by myself directly. The chosing of all other placings will work on the following pricipal. Anyone wishing to apply for a position should tell me before a set deadline date after I have announced the role available. You should tell me your application privately from inside Everquest. This should include reasons why you should be chosen for the role. Once I have all applications I will then decide who will take each of the available roles. The decision will not be argued once it has been made. This is to ensure that all members have a fair oppurtunity. Keep checking on this page to see announcements for new positions.
Note: The three Advisor positions will be seperate from the other roles which are part of the Hierarchy. So an Officer or Lawkeeper can also apply for an Advisor role if they wish.
