Below are descriptions and duties of the different Guild Roles that exist for members.
Commander
Commanders are the second in command for the guild. Their job is to act as Guild Leader while the Leader is not in Norrath. They will perform all necessary leadership duties during this time including recruiting and removing people from the guild and ensuring everything is going well. Any questions that members have for the Guild Leader should go to a Commander in the absensce of him. However, while the Guild Leader is online, he will be in charge and all Commanders will refer to him.
Officer
Guild officers have the duty of recruiting new members as well as the Guild Leader. Whenever they do they must write down the new members name and the date they recruited them and then pass this information on to the Guild Leader. Officers should also answer questions and advise guild members. They must also be online quite often, if they are hardly ever around then there is no point in them taking up this role.
Raid Advisor
They will assist the Guild Leader in planning raids including meeting point, raid location, date and time. They will also help pass this information on to members of the guild. Consideration should be given to all members no matter what level they are, so raids for both high and low levels should be planned. Experience of planning/taking part in raids would be an advantage. The Raid Advisor should be online often at the times when the Guild Leader is on and may be required to discuss raids with the Leader through E-Mail. This role requires a good dedication and entusiasm, and to keep this position you will need to perform the above duties regularly.
Meeting Advisor
They will assist the Guild Leader in planning and giving guild meetings, taking into account location, time and date as well as planning an introduction for each meeting. Meeting times should take into account most/all guild members and be at a time suitable for them, not at a time when only members in the US can reasonably attend. The Meeting Advisor should be online often at the times when the Guild Leader is on and may be required to discuss meetings with the Leader through E-Mail. This role requires a good dedication and enthusiasm, and to keep this position you will need to perform the above duties regulary. The purpose of guild meetings is to all meet each other in person, to discuss new events and developments and to exchange or auction items to each other.
Quest Advisor
They will assist the Guild Leader in planning guild competitions and quests for items. They do not necessarily have to buy the prizes themselves. This role would be suited to a high level member as they would be able to find worthwile items for prizes. The Quest Advisor should be online often at the times when the Guild Leader is on and may be required to discuss competitions and events with the Leader through E-Mail. This role requires a good dedication and enthusiasm, and to keep this position you will need to perform the above duties.
Treasurer
The Treasurer is a highly trusted member of the guild. He will hold all Guild Savings. The Guild will have a trust fund. All high level members and officers are not obliged to but are encouraged to occasionally put in a bit of money into the fund. The fund will be used to help lower level guild members as well as buy prizes for competition. The money in the trust fund will be held by the Guild Treasurer until it is required.
Master At Arms
They will perform a security role for the Guild given to them directly by the Guild Leader. Their job is to ensure that any trouble makers in the guild are brought to the attention of the Guild Leader.
Guild Guardian
Any member level 30 or above will be given this accolade. If this applies to you, go and see the Guild Leader who will validate this and then add you to the Guild Hierarchy. Guardians should try to participate in high level raids and help out lower level members if they are in danger, although they are not obliged to.
Honoured Member
Any guild member who has been part of the guild for more than six months will get this description on the Guild Hierarchy to show their long term standing. No special duties will need to be performed.
