I wanted to write to tell you about two encounters with John by a friend of mine.

This friend, Heather, is 28 pretty and single. She was in NY for a job interview. She went to see another play on Broadway and John and Henry happened to be in the audience. She waited back stage to meet the other actors and John and Henry happened to walk out of the stage door. They stopped and gave autographs, but she was so shocked they were standing next to her she got nervous and said nothing. This happened before New Year's Eve. She is in NY this week and saw "The Dinner Party". Again she waited at the stage door and of course was now ready. She got a picture with him and an autograph. John gave her a side arm hug for the picture. Also another girl there said she was his biggest fan and he gave her a kiss on the cheek. Plus Heather's parents were there and they video-taped the whole thing. John did some dance for the camera and chatted with them. She said he was really nice to everyone. Very gracious and so "not-Hollywood." When her parents return to San Diego they will give me a copy of the tape. I can't wait to see it. Anyway I thought you would enjoy this story. Teresa
