By now the people of Marinoi had set up
a pretty nice place to live. They had houses, malls, schools, everything
they needed to live happily. It was now nearing their first Christmas on
the new planet. Everywhere you look, you see Christmas decorations, carolers,
people in festive out fits. It was great because there was no crime in
the new world. There was a lite snow fall on this night.
At the rangers' house, Kendrix came
out of her room with a box of Christmas ornoments. Karone came up to her
with a puzzled look on her face. Karone: "What is that stuff?" Kendrix
"Its the stuff I'm going to decorate the tree with when Leo and Damon get
back from picking one out." Karone: "Why are you bringing a tree indoors?"
Kendrix: "You mean you don't celebrate Christmas on KO-35." Karone: "No.
What is it?" Kendrix: "Its a holiday we had back on Earth. Its great. People
go out buying gifts for each other and put these pretty decorations everywhere.
Its my favorite holiday." Karone: "Sounds fun." Kendrix put a Santa hat
on Karone's head. Kendrix: "Come on. I think I heard the guys." The two
girls went out to the drive way. Leo and Damon came walking up with the
biggest tree you have ever seen. Karone: "I know I don't understand this
holiday but even I can see a problem here." Leo: "Which is?" Mike came
up behind them having just got off work. Mike: "Guys you know that thing
will never fit through the door, right?" Damon: "Sure it will. Don't
worry." Kendrix: "I've seen shorter telephone polls." They tried to get
it in. Damon: "Huston, we have a problem." They sat the tree on the ground
and started to think. Leo: "Now how are we going to do this?" Karone: "Ok
stand back." She zapped the tree with pink electricity. When she was finished
it was the right size. "There. Now can we go in?" Damon: "That was cool!"
They got the tree in and set up. Just
then, Maya came in just as confused as Karone was. Maya: "What's going
on?" Karone: "Its the Earth holiday Christmas. I didn't get it either.
Kai followed Maya in. Kai: "Merry Christmas everyone! By the way, why are
there tree limbs all over the yard?" Leo: "Don't ask." Karone: "Maya, can
I talk to you for a minute?" They went into the kitchen. Karone: "Kendrix
told me that people buy gifts for each other on Christmas. We don't have
anything for the others." Maya: "But we didn't know about it." Karone:
"There's still time. We can go now." Maya: "Ok." "Oh don't worry. It'll
be fun." They ran out the door. When they got to the mall, it was SO crowded!
Maya: "You still got that septor? We're probably going to have to zap our
way through this crowd." Karone: "Just think how suprised the others will
be when we get them stuff." They went in and began to look around. When
they were finished, they had a load of presents as tall as that tree. They
went back home but stopped in the yard. Maya: "I heard somewhere that we
have to wrap these and put bows on them." Karone: "No problem." She pointed
at the pile of presents. The pink energy came out again and in a flash,
the presents were wrapped. Just then they saw smoke coming out of the house.
Karone: "Who told Kai to bake Christmas cookies?" Maya: "You don't that's
what that is." Karone: "Trust me." They went in and Kai was putting a fire
out on the stove. Kai: "Um.." Karone: "Cookies. We know."
Later that night, the rangers were
all sitting around talking. Mike: "You know the one thing I really want
for Christmas is to bring Trakeena back. I can't help but think that deep
down she might have been good. I mean if Scorpius hadn't messed with her
head. Kendrix: "Maybe. But she was pure evil in the end. Something happened
to her." Leo: "Kendrix, you were a spirit during most of that. Do you know
what happened to her?" Kendrix: "Deviot joined with her. It was his evil
that made her crazy." Leo: "When we left, we didn't really see if she was
gone or not. We don't know what happened to her." Damon: "Why do you want
her back so bad anyway Mike?" Mike: "Well..I..." Kendirx: "I just might
be able to make you Christmas wish come ture." Pink energy flowed from
her hands. The room lit up with power. When all that was over, the front
door opened and in walked a beautiful woman with long brown hair dressed
in black leather pants and a leather jacket. Kendrix: "Merry Christmas
Mike." Mike: "Trakeena!!" Trakeena: "Hi." Mike ran up to her and gave her
a long pashonent kiss. Damon: "Man, he really did miss her." Karone: "So
you're good now." Trakeena: "Yea. Thanks to Kendrix." Leo: "How did you
do that?" Kendrix: "I still had a little power left over from when I was
a spirit. Karone got up and shook Trakeena's hand. Karone: "Welcome to
the team."
