Alien blasting action, all the way!
Comments:
A side-scrolling shooter with you controlling Ripley blasting the aliens to bits, simple as that. The levels end with a big boss and are separated by fast target shooting sections. It is an action packed game slightly varied by differing locations such as the famous Aliens air shafts. Great fun but not particularly intellectually stimulating, but what do you want from an arcade game?

Comments:
You
control the Space Marines Ripley, Hicks etc as they investigate the abandoned space ships.
You do this by moving a sight around the screen, opening doors and searching for the scary
aliens. It captures the spooky feel of the film quite well. It scared the hell out of me
when I was little...

Title: Aliens USA
From: Activision
Year: 1986
Comments: Known as Aliens USA this is a completely different game to the previous ones. A sort of interactive movie where you simply read through screens of text, comic strips and the occasional playable section like having to land the troop ship on the Alien infested planet. Looks and sounds good but it ultimately repetitive and uninvolving.

Comments: Same as the Commodore 'USA' game. Worse graphics and no sound.
