Originally announced in September 2002. The movie was released in the Spring of 2003 yet the game was still slated for an October 2003 release. The movie didn't exactly set the world alight so the likelihood of seeing the game released some 6 months after the film's DVD hit the shops became unlikely. October came and went and it was finally announced that Empire Interactive had informed Mucky Foot (the UK developer behind the game) that they were canceling the game. As a result Mucky Foot, the company who had also developed the Blade 2 tie-in, were forced to close.
