Cobra cleans the streets of criminal vermin
Comments:
I'm not sure how you are supposed to get to the next level of this game. You control Stallone as he cleans the streets of criminal scum using his fists. Apart from that there is very little I can tell you. The graphics are alright but the one tune that goes on and on constantly will drive you mad. I can't really recommend this one.
Other versions of Cobra:

Comments: A redesigned version of the Amstrad/Spectrum games. The graphics and level design are much better in this one. There are plenty of weapons to collect which will help you to kill the crazy axe man who appears from time to time during the levels. Still not much fun though.
Format: Spectrum 48k

Comments: Basically the same version as the Amstrad one although with much worse graphics. The game has a completely different tone, this one is very much more jokey than the others. The sprites are very cartoony and the music is playful and childish. Also you can only take one hit and you die. And why is your ammo represented by a rubber duck? And why do you get guns by collecting burgers? As with the other versions your lives are measured by boxing gloves too. Not much good.
