Comments:
I didn't think it was possible but this is an enjoyable Home Alone game. You play Kevin as he runs around his house searching for and collecting all the valuables and putting them in the basement while avoiding the robbers. There are also some elaborate traps to trigger and also slices of pizza to collect to gain extra points. Shame the others weren't this fun.
Other versions of Home Alone:
Format: Super Nintendo

Comments: Same version as the Gameboy one. Good graphics and sound.
Format: NES
From: THQ
Year: 1991
Comments: This one tries a different approach to the adaptation of the plot. It follows the plot more than the Game boy version and is all the worse for it. It may be fun to watch the bumbling thieves getting hit by silly traps but translating them to a game doesn't work. All you end up doing is just dropping stuff in front of them. This game isn't helped by it's bad music and graphics either.
Format: Sega Master System

Year: 1993
Comments: Similar to the Game boy version. You run around the house trying to find all the valuables and put them in the safe before the robbers steal them. Really really dull and repetitive. Do not play at any cost.

Comments: Nothing new here. You play Kevin as he runs around the house finding objects and using them to thwart the robbers for as long as possible, just don't get caught. The music is rather strange and eerie and the graphics are nothing special. Not as bad as some versions.
Format: Sega Megadrive/Genesis
From: Sega
Year: 1992
Comments: Reviews at the time absolutely slated this one. You play Kevin. You move around outside on a sledge collecting items. You then go inside the house and try to use these items to stop the robbers. Not good.
Format: Sega Game Gear

Comments: Pretty much the same as the Megadrive/Genesis version.
