Okay so the nearest Knight Rider has come to being a movie is the feature length TV-movie pilot episode but that's enough for me. Think of Chase HQ now add a gun but take out the ability to bang into other cars and you've more or less got this. All of KITT's speed is included but they seem to have over looked his 'Molecularly Bonded Shell' which makes him impervious to anything that you can throw, shoot or launch at him. The music is good including decent recreation of the theme but the graphics are rather poor and the car seems to stick to the road allowing you to take extremely tight corners at 300 kmh. Good fun especially for Knight Rider fans.Other versions of Knight Rider:
Format: Playstation 2
From: Koch Media
Year: 2002

Comments: From the makers of 'London Racer' comes this new driving/action game with you in the driving seat of KITT. Good fun while it lasts, which isn't that long. Non of the original cast lend their voices to it either. What is David Hassellhoff doing that is that important?
Format: PC-CD

Comments: Same as the PS2 version.
Format: NES
From: Acclaim
Year: 1988
Comments: Basically the PC-engine game but viewed from inside KITT. Ignores the famous Knight Rider theme all together and, instead, features its own mundane music. The ROM version I have played (and these pictures are taken from) unfortunately doesn't feature the road.
Format: Amstrad CPC
From: Ocean
Year: 1986
Comments: A clever little action adventure which plays pretty much like an episode of the series. You are given a choice of the story line to play (or you can let the computer decide). Next KITT will tell you, over a map of America, that Devon has heard of some terrorist activities in one of the cities. You choose this destination and then drive there while under attack from helicopters. You can set KITT to automatically shoot these down while you concentrate on the driving or you can let him drive while you shoot or, if you want, you can do both. If you arrive at your destination KITT will scan the area and tell you what to do next (in a top down Metal Gear style). Quite enjoyable and there's a lot to do.

Comments: Same game as the Amstrad version but with different storylines.
