License To Kill

From: Domark
Year: 1989
Format: IBM PC
Comments:
A multi-genre game based on the Bond movie. You start the game flying a helicopter, chasing the enemy in a car. After that is a scrolling-shooting bit, where you have to aim by holding fire and moving a sight around. A section where you have to successfully capture a plane from a helicopter, an underwater action sequence and then finally a car chase. It received a reasonable response on it's release. This IBM PC version is PC speaker only so the sound is very limited but the graphics are good.
Other versions of License To Kill:
Format: Amstrad CPC
From: Domark
Year: 1989
Comments: Same as the other computer versions except on level two you shoot by holding down the fire button, moving a sight in the direction in which you want to shoot and then letting go. This makes the level nigh on impossible to finish. The graphics are good but the game is pretty dull. Also the bullets are represented by black dots which means they can be hard to spot.

Comments: Same as the other computer versions. For some reason it plays the theme to 'You Only Live Twice' when you die.
