Masters Of The Universe

From: Gremlin
Year: 1987
Format: Spectrum 48K
Comments:
An action adventure game based around the events of the film. The first level has you controlling a short, fat He Man as he tries to make his way between the materializing bad guys and to the scrap yard while collection musical chords before the time runs out. Your energy is measured by the sword down the edge of the screen and can be topped up by collecting sword power-ups. The game is slow and the graphics and sound are very sparse. Add tp this the confusing perspective- the north indicator at the top is always changing direction but your perspective doesn't- and you've got an un-enjoyable mess.
Other versions of Masters Of The Universe:
Format: Amstrad CPC
From: Gremlin
Year: 1987
Comments: Same as the Spectrum version with slightly more colours and marginally better graphics and sound.
Format: Commodore
From: Gremlin
Year: 1987
Comments: Same as the other two versions but with better graphics and sound, a new enemy and a slightly different layout. This is definitely the better version out of the three.
