Navy Seals

From: Ocean
Year: 1990
Format: Spectrum 48k
Comments:
Remember the movie? Probably not. It came out 1990 staring Charlie Sheen and Michael (Terminator) Biehn but enough of the film what of the game? You play a team of Navy SEALS sent in to various locations to destroy stolen weaponry. Your sprite is surprisingly agile for a Spectrum game. When the Navy SEAL you are controlling dies (and he will- one hit and you're dead) you take control of the next until you run out. Good fun but difficult.
Other versions of Navy SEALS:
Format: Amstrad CPC/GX4000
From: Ocean
Year: 1990
Comments: Same as the spectrum version. Nice large graphics and good music. But, due to the size of the sprites, the scrolling is very slow and jerky.
Format: Commodore 64
From: Ocean
Year: 1990
Comments: Same as the other two versions.
Format: Nintendo Gameboy
From: Ocean
Year: 1991
Comments: Platform shooter. Once again you die with one hit and that doesn't just mean bullets but also touching a baddie is deadly. You have back up of a limited kind from a sniper who can kill all the enemies on the screen. Would be more fun if you could take more hits.
