Not a very accurate take
on the Jackie Chan film. Made at the same time as the movie, for the Japanese
computer the MSX, this is a very simple game. You control Jackie (not that you'd
know it to look at him). The game goes along the lines of; beat the bad guy(s)
in the room then choose which door (of those you can choose from) to go through,
then repeat. The idea is to move room by room through the warehouse to the top
floor where you enter the penthouse and, after beating up whoever is there too,
choose which door (and there by the following stage) to go through. As you can
see the graphics are very old as is the sound and the ear splittingly bad music.
The enemies you battle range from a punk dressed in red, a bald guy in a blue
leotard to animals such as snakes, bats and eventually scorpions (surely you remember
them in the film?). The moves are very limited with the space bar
performing a random attack (either punch or kick) and the ALT key jumping. The repetitive
nature of the ancient game play soon makes this game mind numbingly boring.
