Comments:

The last of the Atari Star Wars arcade games. This time it is an event game. The first part has you on a scout bike zooming through the woods on Endor. The second has you in control of a Scout Walker advancing through the woods. In the third and fourth you control the millenium falcon first through space and then finally escaping the erupting Death Star. Quite good but a little bit on the hard side.

Comments: Direct conversion of the Atari arcade game. The graphics aren't bad and it opens with a funky rendition of Darth Vader's theme.

Format: Atari 2600

Comments: Quite a good looking a sounding Atari 2600 game. You control the Millennium Falcon, flying around shooting Tie Fighters etc while avoiding a collision with the force field above you. Little holes appear and vanish in it and you must nip through them to go on to the next part. Here you must now destroy the Death Star pixel by pixel. The Death Star will explode when you shoot the red dot in the middle but the are Tie Fighters, A mobile yellow laser and floating blocks that repair the damaged Death Star out to stop you. More fun than most of the current Phantom Menace games.

Format: Super Nintendo

Comments: Well regarded platform/driving game based closely on the film. As with the others there are long animated story sequences using still images from the film. You start in a 3D racing section flying a speeder over rocky ground. After that comes the side scrolling platform sections with a choice of character. Good graphics and sound.
