Robocop goes baddie shooting in down town Detroit
Comments:
A rather run-of-the-mill scrolling shooter. You play Robocop who seems to have been eating a little too much baby food as he looks a bit chubby. You walk along and shoot baddies with a few different guns and if you run out of ammo you can use your fists. The graphics are a bit dull as is the gameplay. It's also quite difficult.
Other versions of Robocop III:
Format: Sega Megadrive/Genesis
From: Acclaim
Year: 1993
Comments: Same as the SNES version.
Format: Sega Master System
From: Acclaim
Year: 1993
Comments: Same as the previous two. Robocop is much taller and skinnier in this making him look very camp.
Format: NES

Year: 1992
Comments: Similar to the SNES version but more platform based and closer to the film. More fun as well.
Format: Spectrum 48k

Year: 1992
Comments: A multi-genre game closely based on the movie. It opens with a lame cross-hair moving, shooting section. After that it becomes a side scrolling shoot-em-up. The graphics are only black and white but it's well animated. You can collect tokens during the game to use to repair Robocop between levels.
Format: Commodore 64

Comments: Same as the Spectrum version but with better, more colourful, graphics.
