The Untouchables

From: Ocean
Year: 1990
Format: NES

Elliot in an alley shoot-out and searching the warehouse for clues
Comments:
The usual mix of genres that you come to expect of an Ocean movie game. You start in the warehouse bust were Elliot Ness must find the book-keeper and shoot him until he drops some notes. The second is a shotgun shootout in an alley. After that come a shootout on the bridge collecting illegal liquor, an action sequence where Elliot chases the baby carriage down the steps at the train station ending with stone rescuing the book keeper. Finally there is a roof top chase ending with the death of the man in the white suit. Good music and sound.
Other versions of The Untouchables:
Format: Spectrum 48K
From: Ocean
Year: 1987
Comments: Same as the NES version but with nasty graphics and no music.
Format: Amstrad CPC
From: Ocean
Year: 1989
Comments: Same as the Spectrum version. The graphics are pretty much the same, although they're more blue. Also there is no music unless you have 128K Amstrad.
Format: Commodore 64
From: Ocean
Year: 1987
Comments: Same as the other computer versions. This one has better (and more colourful) graphics.
Format: IBM PC
From: Ocean
Year: 1989
Comments: Same as the other versions. The graphics are better than the home computer versions but not as good as the NES one. Very little sound and no music.
Format: Super Nintendo
From: Ocean
Year: 1993
Comments: Based on their previous Untouchables games rather than the movie, probably as this game was made six years after the film, but it is still licensed from Paramount. The pictures used in the game aren't taken from the movie either. Most of the levels are identical to the other versions but they are named after different events. Such as the railway station level is now set in a court house and the ambush at the bridge now takes place at a dock. Nice graphics, good music and you get to choose which level to do first. Not bad.
