Game Rules & Info
Here we have listed all of the game rules and general game information for your convenience. For further assistance, please contact support@romancasino.com

Object of the game:
The player is to have a hand value that is closer to 21 than that of the dealer, without going over 21.

General Instructions:
The game is played with 6 decks that are shuffled randomly.

To start the game, click on the chip (value) and it will be automatically sent to the table. To retract chip(s), place the mouse over it and right click. You will then receive two cards face up. The dealer will receive one card face up and one face down. Once you have been dealt your two cards, you may be given the following options accordingly:

Hit:
Requests another card. You can request a hit as many times as you like, but if your total goes over twenty-one, you will Bust and lose the hand.

Stand:
Requests that you receive no more cards. The hand as it currently stands will be judged against the dealers.

Split:
If you have two cards of the same denomination, a Split button will appear. You can split your cards into two hands and play each hand separately. Your original bet will be duplicated for the new hand, and each hand will be played out as usual.

Double:
Two things will happen: you will get exactly one more card, your turn will end, and your bet will be doubled.

Insurance:
If the dealer's up-card is an ace, the player has an option of taking insurance. The player may opt to take insurance by clicking on the 'Yes' button when the dealer asks if you would like insurance. If the dealer's down-card is a 10 ranking card, then the player is permitted to place a side bet of half the original wager as insurance. If the dealer does have a 10 ranking card, the player is immediately paid 2-to-1 on the insurance bet, but the original wager is lost unless the player too has a blackjack and pushes with the dealer. Here the player is simply betting that the dealer's unseen card is a 10-valued card.

Example:
Player makes a bet, say $2. If Dealer's first card is an Ace, Player is allowed to take insurance, which is 50% the initial bet, that's $1. So far, he spent $3. If the second card of Dealer is a 10 value (10, J, Q or K), then the game ends, and the initial bet is lost ($2), but the insurance is returned plus 2 x insurance amount (that's $1 + 2x1 = $3), so Player doesn't lose anything. If the second card of dealer is not a 10 value, then insurance is lost and game proceeds. But that does not prevent Dealer from still being able to get a 21, except he can get it only from 3 or more cards (for instance A, 4, 6).

Card Values:

Face cards 10
2-10 Face Value
Ace 1 or 11

Payouts:

Result Payout
Winning hand 1 to 1
Blackjack 3 to 2
Insurance:
Down card value 10 Insurance + 1 to 1

  • Object of the Game:
The player bets on which hand will be closest to 9: the Banker's or the Player's. The player also has the option to bet on a tie (where both the banker and player's hands total the same).

    Description:
Baccarat was invented by the Romans and it is a guessing game like Roulette, but the odds against you are much lower. The game played in Roman Casino is in fact Mini Baccarat. Mini Baccarat is a smaller version of regular Baccarat. The same rules apply in Mini Baccarat as in Baccarat, with the following exceptions:

  • In Mini Baccarat the dealer deals all the cards

  • The table minimums are lower

  • The game is played at a faster pace

  • Keep in mind that the dealer is not the Banker and you are not the Player, these are just the names of the hands.

    General Instructions:
Eight decks are used in the game. To place your bet, click on the chip (value) and then click on one of the appropriate boxes (Player, Bank, Tie) or any combination of these within the betting limits. To retract chip(s), place the mouse over it and right click. The Player and Banker are dealt two cards. If the Player has less than 6, the dealer will automatically draw another card. With 6 or 7, the Player stands. An 8 or 9 is a Natural and the Banker cannot draw. No hand receives more than three cards. When the Player and Banker hands total the same amount, the hand is declared a Tie.

    Card Values:

    Ace 1
    Face & Ten Zero
    All others (2-9) Face Value

If the total value of the cards dealt exceeds 9, then the value is adjusted by subtracting 10 from the total. For example:

    Hand Hand Total
    7+9=16 6
    8+8=16 6
    5+9=14 4

    The Third Card Rule:
This rule applies only to the Banker's hand. You needn't bother memorizing this. let the dealer worry about it. The Banker's hand receives a third card according to these rules:

  • If first two cards total 0,1 or 2 Banker will draw an additional card

  • If first two cards total 3 Banker will draw an additional card, unless Player draws an 8.

  • If first two cards total 4 Banker will draw an additional card, unless Player third card is an Ace, 8, 9 or 10.

  • If first two cards total 5 Banker will draw an additional card, unless Player third card is an Ace, 2,3,8,9 or10.

  • If first two cards total 6 Banker will draw an additional card, unless Player third card is an Ace, 2,3,4,5,8,9 or 10

  • If first two cards total 7 Banker stands

  • 8-9 "Natural" Banker's stands and cannot draw.

  • If the Player takes not cards, the Banker stands on 6.

  • Payouts:
A winning Player hand wager is paid at 1 to 1. A winning Banker hand wager is also paid at 1 to 1 but the player must pay a 5% commission to the bank. Winning Tie wagers are paid at 8 to 1.

    Object of the Game:
To obtain the highest poker hand (containing at least a pair of tens) while keeping the maximum bet on the table.

    General Instructions:
The game is played wit a Single deck of 52 cards. The player places an ante on the table. The amount is divided into three equal piles and placed on the table. The dealer deals the player three cards face up. The player must choose to withdraw the first bet or keep it on the table (Let It Ride). The player is then dealt a fourth card and decides again whether to Let It Ride or to withdraw the second bet. The player is then dealt a fifth card and the hand is scored. If the player's hand qualifies with at least a pair of tens, the payout is determined by the quality of the hand. The skill of the player is required to find the appropriate strategy for the 51,979,200 possible variations of this game. Player wins if he/she has a hand with at least a pair of tens or better.

  • Description:
In Caribbean Poker (also known as Caribbean Stud Poker) the player does not play against other players, but against the dealer. The player places an ante and is dealt 5 cards from a 52-card deck, and then decides whether or not to bet. If player bets and if the dealer's hand qualifies (if it contains and Ace/King combination or better), the player's hand will be compared to the dealer's.

    General Instructions:
To begin place you ante by clicking on the chip (value) which will be automatically sent to the ante space on the table. To retract chip(s), place the mouse over it and right click. The dealer will then deal you 5 cards face up. Then dealer will draw four cards face down and one card face up. You may either 'Bet' or 'Fold', depending on the quality of your hand. If you 'Bet', your bet will equal twice your ante.

If you 'Fold', you will lose your ante to the dealer and the hand will end.

The dealer will then reveal his/her cards. The dealer can either qualify, or not qualify (DNQ). If the dealer does not have an Ace King combination or better in his hand, he/she will not qualify. In other words, the dealer must have at least a pair if he does not have both an Ace and a King.

If the dealer does not qualify, your will receive a 1 to 1 pay out on your ante and your bet will be returned to you.

If the dealer does qualify, his/her hand will then be compared to yours. If the dealer's hand beats yours, you will lose your ante and your bet. If the dealer's hand and your hand are equal, no money will be exchanged.

If your hand beats the dealer's hand, you will win even money (1 to 1) on your ante, plus a payoff on your bet based on the quality of your hand.

If the dealer and you both have the same hand (for example you have three of a kind and the dealer has three of a kind), then the winner is the one with the highest-ranking cards.

If the dealer has one pair, for example jack, jack, ten, six and five and the player has one pair hand of jack, jack, ten, nine and six, then the player wins.

    Card Rankings:

Nothing - A hand with five non-matching cards
One Pair - One pair of identically ranked cards
Two Pairs - Two groups of two cards showing
    the same number or picture.
Three of a Kind - Three cards from different suits
displaying the same number or picture.
Straight - Five cards in consecutive order,
    any combination of suits.
Flush - Five cards of same suit.
Full House - Three of a kind and a pair.
Four of a Kind - Four cards from different suits
    of the same rank
Straight Flush - Five cards in consecutive order
    from same suit.
Royal Flush - Ace, King, Queen, Jack and ten
    from same suit

    Payouts:
Payoff in Caribbean Poker is very simple. If you place a bet and the dealer fails to qualify, you win even money on your ante and the bet is simply returned. If the dealer qualifies and your hand wins, you get even money on your ante and your bet pays out according to the following chart:

    Basic Strategy:
You should 'Bet' if your five-card hand is ace-king-jack-8-3 or better, and 'Fold' otherwise. Bluffing not recommended in Caribbean Stud Poker.

    Playing Instructions:
Keno is a game of chance based on the random selection of numbers, played at most casinos and similar to state lotteries that you may have played.

    Your Winning Odds:
Roman Casino's Video Keno is similar to ordinary Keno played in most land-based casinos. The only difference are the payouts, which offer a return for every possible combination (sometimes, the return is smaller than the bet). For instance, if you bet $1 on 2 numbers, you can get $0.5 if neither is winner, $0.8 if one of them wins, or $5 if both win. In the original game, you could get $12 if both numbers win, but the probability for both numbers to win is only 6%, while the probabilities for 0 or 1 number to win are 56% and 38%. This way, instead of returning 72% as in real game, our Kino returns 89% for this particular case - which is in the advantage of the player. The complete table of return percentages looks like this:

    Numbers Real game Roman Casino
    1 75% 88%
    2 72% 88.45%
    3 75% 88%
    4 75% 87%
    5 75% 87%
    6 75% 87%
    7 77% 88%
    8 100% 87%
    9 76% 87%
    10 65% 87%

    How To Play:
    1. Select your bet amount ranging from 1-100 Dollars.

    2. Choose how many numbers you would like to play with (1-10)

    3. Then you can choose your numbers in two ways:

    A) Manually by clicking on each individual number
    B) Automatically by clicking on the 'AUTO' button.

    4. Right click mouse on the 'AUTO' button to clear all the numbers or right click any number to clear individually.

    5. The scrolling chart on the right side of the screen displays Hits and their respective payouts.

    6. When you are ready, click on the 'PLAY' button. 20 numbers will be randomly selected. The WHITE squares represent the selected numbers while the RED squares represent successful hits.

    7. A pop up MENU is located in the upper right hand corner. Your balance, successful hits and payouts are also displayed in this area.

    Object of the Game:
To make two poker hands that beat the dealer's hands.

    Description:
Pai Gow is a game that combines elements of the ancient Chinese game of Pai Gow with aspects of the American game of poker. It is a poker variation that uses a pack of 52 cards plus one Joker. The Joker is Wild and can be used only as an Ace, or to complete a Straight, Flush, or a Straight Flush.

    General Instructions:
Before the deal, the player places the bet, then 7 cards are dealt. You then select two cards from the 7 to form the small hand (or Low Hand).

The relative values of the five card hands are the same as in poker, with five aces beating a royal flush. For the two card hand, any pair beats any two unmatched cards, but no other combinations are possible.

The five card hand must be higher than the two card hand, in other words if the two cards were a pair of aces, the five card hand would have to contain two pairs or better.

After you've made your selection, the dealer's seven cards are exposed and form the seven exposed cards into a five and a two in the same way as the players.

The result is determined by comparing the player's hands with the dealer's hands:

If the player wins both hands the dealer pays out the amount staked by the player.

If the dealer wins one hand and the player wins the other no money changes hands. This is called a "push".

If the dealer wins both hands the dealer wins the player's stake "Tied" hands are wins for the dealer, in other words, if either hand is tied, the dealer wins that particular hand. If one hand is tied and the player wins the other no money changes hands.

    Payouts:
General Pai Gow Poker Payouts, as found in all land based casinos. Player is paid even money on all winning hands less a 5% commission. No commission is collected on losing hands or ties. Thus, a $10 winning wager will return $19.50 (his $10 wager plus $10 in winnings minus the $0.50 commission).

    How To Play:
  • Click on the Chip to send it to the table.

  • Click Deal

  • After the seven cards have been dealt, click on two cards to form the small hand.

  • Click on Split.

  • The result between the dealer and each player is determined by comparing the player's 5 card hand with the dealer's 5 card hand and the player's 2 card hand with the dealer's 2 card hand.

  • Object of the Game:
The basic idea behind Craps is to establish a "point" number and roll that number again before rolling a 7 (craps). There are 2 distinct stages of the game:
    1. Come-out roll - as long as a point was not established;

    Object of the Game:
The player needs to build the best hand possible from 5 cards.

    General Instructions:
After the initial round of betting the player receives 5 cards. The player may discard some or all of their cards and receive replacements. The payout is then determined according to the player's hand.

    Poker Hands:
A poker hand is made from the best arrangement of five cards and are ranked as follows, highest first:

  • Royal Flush: A-K-Q-J-10, all same suit

  • Straight Flush: any five consecutive cards, all same suit

  • Four-of-a-Kind: four cards, same value (eg. four 7's)

  • Full House: Three-of-a-Kind and a Pair

  • Flush: any five cards of the same suit

  • Straight: any five consecutive cards

  • Three-of-a-Kind: three cards, same value

  • Two Pairs

  • Pair: pays only if the pair consists of cards valued Jacks of better

  • No Pair: five dissimilar cards, mixed suit - doesn't pay.

  • How To Play:
Click the chips on the little table to send them into the machine. Push CASH OUT to empty the machine at any time.

    Push the +/- buttons to select the current coin. Available values are 5¢, 10¢, 25¢, $1, $2, $3, $4, $5. Default is $1.

Push BET ONE repeatedly to increase the number of coins for each spin. Available amounts are 1/2/3/4/5 coins. Push BET MAX for 5 coins.

Push DEAL or click the card hold by Diana to make the initial deal.

After 5 cards are dealt and the note "Choose cards to HOLD" appears on the front, click the cards to be held. Click again to release if you mistakenly held a card. You may want to hold ALL 5 cards if you think the initial deal is good enough (you definitely will do it for a straight flush). You also may hold 4 cards, 3, 2, 1 or none. Then push DRAW or Diana's hand to get the concluding draw. All the cards that were not held will be refreshed and payments are made at this stage.

Prizes are awarded according to the prize chart. The numbers represent how many coins of the current denomination are paid.

    Object of the Game:
The object of the game is to either select the individual numbers, or a combination of the numbers, that will appear on the dice after they are shaken and rolled.

    Description:
Sic Bo, meaning dice pair, is an ancient Chinese game of chance played with three dice. The betting possibilities and their payoff amounts are depicted on the table layout by showing the faces of the dice in their many combinations. There are single die numbers, two of a kind, three of a kind, or combinations of any two or three of the dice.

    Types of Bets:
There are seven different types of bets that can be made in the game of Sic Bo:

  • Any one of the six dice sides, 1 through 6. If that number comes up on any one of the dice, the bet is paid off at 1:1. If two of the dice come up with the same number, the bet is paid off at 2:1. If all three dice come up on that same number, the bet is paid off at 3:1.

  • A combination of two particular numbers. If those two numbers come up on any two of the dice, the bet is paid off at 5:1.

  • The total of all three dice. The player can bet on any specific total from 4 to 17. The payoff on this bet varies from 6:1 to 50:1, depending upon the total bet.

  • "Small" or "Big". A bet on small wins if the total of the three dice is between 4 and 10. A bet on big wins if the dice total between 11 and 17.

  • A particular triplet will come up with a payoff of 150:1.

  • Any triplet with a payoff of 24:1.

  • Any pair of numbers turning up, with a payoff of 8:1.

  • How To Play:
Click the chips in the wallet (next to Roll) to select the current chip.

Left-click the designated areas of the table to add the current chip to a bet.

Right-click a bet to remove it.

Press the ROLL button whenever it's active, to roll the dice.

To activate the ROLL button, you must place at least a bet.

To repeat a bet, just press ROLL again. Chips from the wallet will be

placed automatically on the table, in same amount and configuration as the previous bet.

The prizes are self-explanatory. For example, if the player places $1 on 'Small', Total 9, Any two (1-5), Any one (3), and the roll is 1-3-5, then payments will be:

    $2 on Small (total is 9, less than 10);
    $8 on Total 9
$6 on Any two (for 1-5)
$2 on Any one (for 3)

    Object of the Game:
To predict whether the value of a randomly selected card falls between the value of two cards drawn previously by the dealer.

    Description:
The Red Dog Table resemble the Blackjack table, but the games are quite different from one another. First, the player places the stake on the table and the dealer draws two cards, face up. The dealer will indicate the spread between the two cards drawn. Depending on the value of the two cards drawn by the dealer, players have the option to raise the bet by clicking on 'Yes' or 'No' and a third card may or may not be drawn. This depends on the values of the two cards drawn by the dealer.

    Three different situations may occur:

    Consecutive Hand:
When the dealer draws cards where the values of the cards are consecutive, like 7 and 8, or Queen and King, it is considered a Consecutive Hand. The dealer will not draw a third card, the hand is declared a push and the player's wager is returned

    Pair Hand:
When the dealer draws cards where value of the cards of the same value, for example two Jacks, the dealer will automatically draw a third card. If the value of the third card is the same as the previous two, all players win with a payoff of 11:1. If the value of the third card is different from the previous two, the hand is declared a push and the players wager is returned.

    Non-Consecutive Hand:
When the dealer draws two cards that are not consecutive or the same, this is called a non-consecutive hand. The dealer will announce the spread between the two drawn cards. The spread is the number of values that fall between the values of the two cards drawn by the dealer. For example, if the two cards drawn by the dealer were 4 and Jack, the spread is 6 since there are six values between the 4 and Jack (5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10). When the spread is announced, players have the option to raise the bet by clicking "Yes". This raises the amount of the original bet prior to the dealer drawing the third card. Clicking on 'Yes' will prompt the dealer to draw the third card. Players win if the value of the third card falls between the value of the two cards originally drawn by the dealer. However, if the third card drawn is identical to either of the first two, the bet is lost.

There is never a push in non-consecutive hands. All winning and raise bets in non-consecutive hands are paid at odds determined by the spread. They are as follows:

    Spread Odds
    1 5:1
    2 4:1
    3 2:1
    4-11 1:1

    Object of the Game:
The card values are according to the following table:

    Card Value
    2-10 Face Value
    Jack 11
    Queen 12
    King 13
    Ace 14
