I originally started collecting Star Wars stuff as a kid, like most people, but about a year ago I decided to hit the attic and find out how much of the old vintage stuff I had. I was quite supprised to see that I had about sixty of the original 93 figures in good condition (most still with weapons and accessories), my Millenium Falcon & X-Wing in excellent condition, Slave 1, and a load of mini rigs. This revived my collecting and I have since been tracking down the remaining figures I require with some good success and I now only need a few figures.
With this revival of Star Wars collecting I started collecting the latest "Power of the Force" figures, and in a short time have managed to gain a collection which is approximately 70% complete. This collection has a lot more figures to collect than the original line because it has been running since 1995 and still produces new figures almost every month. At present there are over 200 figures to collect in this line.
As with most Star Wars fans I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of Episode 1 this year, and obviously I am also keen to get hold of the new figures. I beleive there will be an initial line of approximately 20 figures (don't quote me!) just before the film is released, which will ramp up as the film runs.
I will have full lists of all Star Wars figure collections on this site soon, along with some idea of how rare / expensive they are and perhaps some pictures 'n' stuff so check back soon.
