Remus Lupin will return in this book.
Hermione will become a prefect.
Lupin has a twin brother named Romulus. (Remus and Romulus were the legendary founders of Rome who were abandoned at birth and raised by a wolf. When they were older, Romulus killed Remus. Given JK`s well known predilection for giving her characters meaningful names, this one seems fairly plausible.)
Harry will attempt to kill Voldemort but fail.
