Never Good Enough

I'm not good enough,

Thoughts and opinions fall on deaf ears

You never listen,

Blind to the pain,

The heartache and tears

I'm never good enough,

You remind me in a countless number of ways

Forever the object of amusement,

Monotonously criticised,

Unknown to the receiving of praise

I'm treated with indifference,

Being merely a hindrance in your life

Your callousness,

Regardless of your belief, hurts

As does a deep wound induced by a sharp knife
