There are a lot of good classics
to be seen so I am not going to
limit this to "New" movies.
Dig deep into your video archives
and drag out your favorite movies.
Share them with the rest of the world.
Our first reiview is about
The Shawshank Redemption with
Morgan Freeman, Tim Robbins
and James Whitmore.
The movie is set in Shawshank
Prison and depicts life inside
the prison. There were some violent
scenes and some implied sexual
content.
What really got my attention
about this movie were the scenes
of kindness and caring between
some of the inmates. In a place
and time that was tough to the
point of being fatal and cruel,
there were some tender moments.
I enjoyed the often dry humor.
I think there were more than a
few lessons in this movie. If you
are a big fan of Morgan Freeman,
you will love his performance.
James Whitmore had a wonderful
surprise toward the first of the movie.
Those of you with tender
hearts will love it.
