When She Laughs
[by Dr.Who3]

When she laughs
the jewels
in the sky
tingle with excitement

causing stardust
to gently fall
to Earth
covering us both

and so we dance [dreamy pause. . . ]
while the moon
shines silver magic
on our love.

She Wore One Ribbon in Her Hair
[by Dr.Who3]

She wore one ribbon
in her hair
the day we met.
It was so bright
and bounced with
the joy of her movements.

On our twentieth
wedding anniversary
She wore one ribbon
in her hair.
It still looked pretty
and made my heart
jump.

When she turned 70
she wore just one ribbon
in her hair.
It still made
my eyes mist.

Today she wore one ribbon
in her hair.
It is faded finally
and lays still,
as she does.

And I cry because
I will never see it again.

Eternity Watches
[by Dr.Who3]

Eternity watches while the
purple fire spreads
to cover all. . . . .

and the edges of the world
slowly dissolve. . . .
as reason kills the last
island of love. . .

Then all is
silent for awhile
as the universe
waits to see
if the last echoes
of a dying heart
can give birth, anew,
to the spirit of love
as a comet
drifts lazily past
in the night sky.
