Teeny Tiny Tina Turtle(2)
[by Dr.Who3]

Teeny tiny Tina turtle
trotted to town
to try on two tan tennis shoes
for the Teen trot race on Tuesday.

When Teeny tiny Tina turtle
got ready to take
the two tan shoes home,
talking Tom, the tall teller
from the bank next door,
tendered a second pair
of tan tennis shoes
as a transparent token
of his true feelings regarding her endeavors
[and the fact that he bought the wrong size
and they would not fit him
even if he twisted his ten toes].

Teeny tiny Tina turtle
waved goodbye gratefully
and tripped on Tony turtles tail
on her way out through the door
and although Teeny tiny Tina turtle
nearly dropped her two tiny pairs
of tan tennis shoes, she recovered
to trot to Tenpenny lane in time
to trade a ten cent piece of taffy
for a tan tote bag to carry
her two pairs of teeny tiny tan tennis shoes
to the Teen trot.

Although I tried to take
time to type two
Teeny tiny Tina turtle tales
and finally got myself to stop
tying tongues in knots,
I look tearfully at the
tired keyboard
and I am tempted.

S T A R S
[by Dr.Who3]

S hining down from Heaven
. .T raveling back in time
. . .A cross the universe
. . . .R eflecting in the eyes of love
. . . . .S miling in my heart.

S trewn across the night sky
. .T he glittering jewels of eternity
. . .A geless on a scale we can not comprehend
. . . .R estoring wonder to a tired soul
. . . . .S panning the gap between our world and dreams

S howering the road ahead with beauty
. .T easing the imagination
. . .A mazing to a lover's heart
. . . .R emorseless in the cold of loneliness
. . . . .S himmers of possibility

S mall details in a dark infinity
. .T rivial motes of reality in a sea of potential
. . .A nodynes for mortality
. . . .R efracting time
. . . . .S plendid dust of emeralds, rubies, sapphires, and diamonds
