Touch
[by Dr.Who3]

He begins:
Across the lonely void
I send this ghostly touch
on silent dance through timeless cold,
past death's embrace
where love's remembered kisses
perchance evade it's clutch.

Onward, past the mists
of time and life forsworn,
a selfless call to love's own Heart
whose smile doth life adorn.

She responds:
'Tis not a touch so light
nor Love so pale a shade
to leave my soul in solitude
but gentle and with every breath
a smile doth touch my spirit
and upon my silence rest
and so we dance,
he in time and I in measured moments;
filled with blissful whimsy,
exalted by love's torments.

He replies :
Though long, the miles
that us do part, they hold no awe
nor burden place upon my life
but only Love's great depth
and haunting echoes
from the edge of all eternity,
as held in Love's sweet smile,
do give me pause.

She observes :
He sparkles, nay but shines,
alight of inner virtue.
With gentle smile and loving breath
he sends all within Love's means,
upright within my wishes
holding still among my dreams.
