A Winter's Day
[by Dr.Who3]

The clouds rolled thicker
across the gray sky
it's stern colder mein
in sharp contrast
to the warmer air below.

Then the face of winter
calmly looked on as snowflakes
began to fall in ever increasing number,
creating the magic curtain
that seems able to stop time
and swallow sound
while enchanting the hearts
of young and old.

Soon the day was lost in the frayed
remnants of winters cloak
leaving behind the memories
to whisper in the blowing
drifts of eternity.
