Whisper
[by Dr.Who3]

Whisper whisper whisper. . . .
Sometimes when I close my eyes
I can see every curving line of your face.
Were I to loosely wrap one of your tresses
'round my finger, still I would not know you better.
We have met, heart to heart
though my fingers still long to feel your first touch.

My soul has lain beside yours,
looking out among the stars
where we have walked the roads of legends
and felt the brush of fairy's wings
softly gazing, softly breathing until
we again believe in magic,
holding faithful smiles once more.

Whisper whisper whisper. . . .
Sometimes when I close my eyes
I can see every curving line of love,
far past deaths embrace,
forged upon the anvil of tomorrow
and laid upon the breast of dark eternity
on the other side of dreams.
