A British website devoted to the master of teenage horror
If you're already a fan of this man's brilliant spine-chilling books or a newcomer wondering where to begin, then this might be just the place to get started . At the moment this site is fairly basic but hopefully it will get bigger and better as time goes by, so just hang in there! I have recently added a guestbook and message board, please feel free to sign either one and let me know you were here, I appreciate any comments and feedback.

Why I love Christopher Pike
The first Christopher Pike book I ever read was 'Spellbound', when I was about fourteen years old. I can't remember what drew me to it , the creepy book cover or the summary on the back, but I was expecting the usual gory horror fare. However, it goes much deeper than that, his stories and characters explore the heights and the depths of human imagination, his words have the power to scare, thrill and move you to tears , often all in the same book. There are moments such as the one in 'Remember Me' when Shari sees herself lying in a mortuary or Alisa, 'The Last Vampire' fighting her way out of another impossible situation, that illustrate the diversity and range of his novels. He touches on issues such as spirituality and the nature of evil, crediting his largely teenage readers with intelligence and insight. Although no longer a teenager myself I refuse to give up reading these wonderful books: they're often frightening and disturbing, sometimes moving and thought-provoking, even philosophical, but they are never, ever dull.

Important Note: Sorry to anyone who mailed me and never had a reply, it was an old address long since expired, I honestly thought I had changed it. Any mail you send will now get through, thanks.
