| They've sold in excess of 75 million albums and this is
the only one I've got. For a first time listening of the band like myself
it's hard to know what to expect when you look at the cover of the album
and look at the pictures on the back of them, and think Jeeesus what the
hell are they on? And you'd probably have put it back on the shelf.
They are one of those bands who don't write a single just stadium filling albums and enough over-priced merchandise to make you cry. If you don't go for any of the 'army' stuff, you won't be dissapointed with the music they are playing. At the moment I know of no band who play llike them they days. with 50 odd albums to their credit in about 20 years, I'm amazed I'd never heard of them before. Songs like 'Raise Your Glasses' hels you notice the messages they are getting across in the songs lyrics, and their adoration of their fans is clear in 'You Wanted the Best'. 10 tracks of pure rock'n'roll, you just have to appreciate it. If you get the standard release you get extra multimedia on the disc in the form of a screensaver with an introduction from the band, it also has a 3D-style box. Alimited edition European tour pack is available which as well as the standard album includes 6 live tracks recorded on the US leg of the tour. Don't make the mistake I made and rush out and buy the standard one, because the limited edition is quite easy to find, although, when I saw it there was £4 price difference from the original. KISS are about to do a European tour, with one date in the UK on the 25th at the Wembly Arena. For those of you lucky b******s going, I hope you enjoy yourselves, I'm in too much debt to afford it.
