Welcome to this, my Commodore 64 page. The C64 was one of the most popular of the 8-bits, possibly due to the fact that Commodore was so well established, this computer evolving from the Vic 20, then the C16 before becoming the popular C64 (which was later followed by the superior C128).
The C64 offered more colours on screen and better designed to multiplayer gaming, giving two joystick ports compared to rival Amstrad's single port.
Anyway, enough about all that, it's the games that we all remember and love and there were a lot of classics released over the C64's relatively long life, it presented the classics Head Over Heels (if only in two colours per screen), Outrun, the original driving game - probably the best format for playability (except for the original coin-op version).
