Confession TV
is the new single from fariña’s forthcoming album, Three People. B-side Nothing Lasts is a non-album track.Fariña are a London-based three piece, formed in September 1995. Influences include late 60’s/early 70’s singer-songwriters, Australian proto-punks the Saints, orchestral soundtrack music and American pop experimentalists from the Beach Boys to the Flaming Lips. Matt and Mark have skirted the borders of British independent music for years, previously playing in The Palace of Light and Mabel Joy - both of whom released acclaimed albums on cult label Bam-Caruso.
Fariña are Mark Brend (vocals, guitar, bass, melodica), Matt Gale (vocals, computer, bass, keyboards, guitar, accordion) and Cliff Glanfield (vocals, drums, trumpet, keyboards).
Fariña release their debut album Three People (EGG 26) on Pickled Egg Records in early November.
