In 1996, following the format of his much acclaimed World Tour of Scotland, Billy Connolly set off across the wilds and wonders of Australia on his custom-built Harley Davidson trike, to show us a land he has come to love in recent years. A series of programmes were made, documenting his Australian tour.
Billy Connolly's 'Goldfish' Television Ads
In 1997, Billy Connolly was reported to have accepted a deal from BT to do their television ads. But to everyone's surprise, he accepted a £1m deal from British Gas to play a wizened old wizard in the television ads for the launch of their new Goldfish credit card.

In the spring of 1994, Billy Connolly began a 40 show tour of his native land. This seven part series allowed Billy to give us his personal interpretation of the sights and sounds of Scotland. Also included were some new commissioned music by Billy Connolly, Ralph McTell and Graham Preskett.
