News of Vessel's impending
arrival on the scene had reached London. The band were contacted
and asked to play at Cairo Jack's in Soho on March 18th.
This was their first gig, played just three weeks after they met
up.
Other London engagements followed, including
one at the Borderline, in June.
The first months of Vessel's career were very busy, gigging around
East Anglia in between the London appearances, writing a lot of
new songs,
and working on the material for their first recording.....
