Rise N Shine is now turning its focus even more to the fans, concentrating on those things we all love - the FAN STORIES. It would be great if everyone sent in their own Extreme-related fan stories for future issues... if you've met any of the ex-Extreme members, been to any Extreme-related gigs, or have any photos, please by all means send them in! Rather than printing a lot of news here, as I have done in the past in the print fanzine, the real forum for current news is the Extreme mailing list - that way, it's all up-to-the-minute! Right now though, I do want to report that Pat has been writing some new songs with STA and they'll be recording a few more for the album - scheduled for release in early 2000. Also, they'll be playing in the Florida area throughout the rest of 1999. In this issue, the fan stories include coverage of Gary's day at the American Life League Conference, a recent STA gig and fan meeting, and a wonderful story from the Extreme days. Photos all included, of course! If you want to send in your own Extreme experiences, please do so and I'll include them in this issue (each issue is ongoing for a few months), along with any creative columns or ideas you want to submit.
