On 6 April 1993, my friend Bellinda and myself set out to meet Extreme. The night before, we got ourselves so psyched up that if we didn't meet Extreme the next day, it would have been such a disappointment. But fortunately, we had an idea of where they were staying, and it paid off. They were staying at the Hilton Hotel - Melbourne, Australia. Bellinda and I were at the hotel for about five minutes before they all started walking out, leaving to go for a soundcheck (that's what we found out later on). When I seen Gary, I froze. I was in such a shock, I couldn't believe it. Then Gary called us over - he is the sweetest guy. We took photos with Nuno, Pat, Paul and Gary, got autographs and talked to the guys for a while. The best thing about this adventure is that we were the only two people at the hotel and we had Extreme to ourselves. Thank you Pat, Paul, Nuno and Gary for taking time and showing us who really counts... the fans.
