Flesh, reviewed by Alison Cummings

Flesh album coverIf Waiting For The Punchline isn't quite what you're looking for these days - maybe it's too heavy, not enough harmonies, or, dare I say it, too unvaried for your taste - then Flesh might be just what you need!

From start to finish, this self-titled album is uplifting. Vibrant grooves combine with powerful singing and an irresistable freshness, to make you forget all your troubles! Whether you're shaking your booty to the infectious 'Dancehard' and 'Jam', or singing along to the powerful 'The Almighty Man', you'll always be having a good time when you listen to this CD.

Written by Markus and sung by Paulo, the songs range from fun and exhilirating, to grinding, and powerful, and tender; my personal favourites are the ones I've already mentioned, along with 'Weight Of The World' and 'Into My Sea'.

So, if you're one of those people who are finding Punchline a bit hard to digest, don't worry about it! You'll probably come back to it later - but for now, do yourself a favour and have a listen to Flesh!
