Urban Planning Links

I am going to graduate school in the fall at Ohio State University’s Knowlton School of Architecture for City and Regional Planning. These are some of my favorite urban planning links for finding graduate schools or other urban planning info.

Ohio State
This link is for the City and Regional Planning Department at Knowlton School of Architecture at Ohio State University.

MARC
Metropolitan Area Studies Corporation does detailed studies of cities. This site provides a sample from Atlanta, Denver, St. Louis, and Washington D.C.

Erics Urban Planning Page
Eric’s Urban Planning Page is based in Portland Oregon and has many great links to learn about alternative forms of transportation.

Free Bicycle Links
I hope to soon have a more extensive listing under this, but for now it
links you to a list of programs around the world

Arcosanti
Arcosanti is an experiment in urban planning started by Frank Lloyd Wright student Paolo Soleri. Soleri invented the Arcology and has been attempting to build one in Arizona, using Wright’s methods of experiential education.

ACSP
The Association of Collegiate Schools of Planning is an invaluable resource to anyone who is looking to study Urban Planning.

Mass Transit Maps
I will soon have this page running to directly connect people to the maps of the mass transit system in cities around the country and hopefully the world.
