Save The Wolf.

Thank you for viewing this page :o)
He is strong, courageous, yet gentle and loving, loyal and affectionate. He cares for his family, and provides for them in a way some humans seem unable to do. Where does the saying "wolf in sheep's clothing" come from? If only man were more like the wolf, our family unit would have much stronger foundations than it seems to have. The wolf has values, and he sticks to them!
Surely one of the most misunderstood of all creatures throughout the ages. The wolf has been subjected to unnecessary ridicule and fear; hunted, trapped, and unmercifully murdered by man, the very being who calls a dog (descendent of the wolf), his best friend.
Our ancestors sat around their camp fires and threw scraps to the hungry harmless wolves that were attracted by the smell of cooked food.
Each saw benefits in befriending the other. Man would have his guards,
look-outs and hunters.
The wolf would have enough food to sustain himself and his family.
Both would have loyal, trustworthy companions, helping each other in times of need; loving each other in times of plenty.
Why has man forgotten his side of the bargain?
A WOLF WEEPS NOT
A wolf weeps not for the human
concerns
He weeps for the world that only he knows
He weeps not for the loss of a
job
She weeps not for the price of new clothes
He weeps not about keeping up with the neighbors
She weeps for the loss of her
mate during a hunt
He weeps for the loss of the mother of his children
She weeps for the dying pups who are starving
He weeps for the loss of his mate killed by a trophy hunter
The wolf weeps for the fear and
hatred in man
The wolf weeps for the loss of human compassion
The wolf weeps for the dying of all children
The wolf weeps for the hope he
maintains in humankind....
