A South African inventor has come up with the ideal solution to combat
the huge problem of car hijacking. Charles Fourie has devised the
'Blaster' which is mounted to the underside of the car. If the driver
is threatened by a hijacker whilst in the car, the driver can press a
switch which will activate a flamethrower on either side of the
vehicle.
Johannesburg Police Superintendent, David Walkley, has given the legal
all clear by having one installed on his own car.
