Many important faces have appeared on the Simpsons throughout the
run of the show. This impressive list features several Presidents, artists,
world leaders, inventors and other persons of note throughout the ages.
- Buzz Aldrin
- Benedict Arnold - One of the damned jurors called up for the
trial over Homer's soul.
- Lizzy Borden - (1) Martin Prince plays her in a school production.
(2) One of the damned jurors called up for the trial over Homer's soul.
- President George Bush - (1) Moves in next to the Simpsons.
Bart's Dennis the Menace like behavior causes Bush to lose his cool.
His nasty fights with Homer force him to move away. (2) Gets rejected
at the door at Mr. Burns' birthday party ("No one-termers").
(3) Bumps into the Simpsons at the unemployment office when Marge goes
to pick up her check.
- President Jimmy Carter - (1) His statue is purchased for the
town of Springfield where he is deemed history's greatest monster by
a citizen. The statue is later converted to a Marge homage/teatherball
apparatus. (2) Rejected at the door at Mr. Burns' birthday party ("No
one-termers").
- Bill Clinton - (1) Plays in Lisa's little girl blues group.
(2) Replaced by an alien right before the Presidential election. (3)
Hits on Marge at an elitist party.
- Senator Bob Dole - Replaced by an alien right before the Presidential
election.
- Thomas Edison - Homer's inventing idol. Incorrectly given credit
for one of Homer's inventions (The automatic hammer).
- President "Ike" Eisenhower - Krusty uses his picture
as a guest on his live broadcast during Sideshow Bob's reign of "No
TV" terror.
- President Gerald Ford - (1) Moves in after George Bush leaves.
Has an instant report with Homer. (2) While trying to spread the word
about Boyscouts at a telethon Krusty mocks him behind his back.
- Mahatma Ghandi - Part of Homer's gang of political powers during
Homer and Burns snow lodge fiasco.
- Mikhail Gorbachov - Drops by to give George Bush housewarming
present only to find him fighting with local oaf (Homer).
- Vice President Al Gore - Parties down after Lisa buys his book.
- Stephen Hawking
- Adolf Hitler - (1) Blames Burns' teddybear Bobo for the fall
of his empire. (2) Bart's international prank call spree nearly gets
Hitler's car phone somewhere in South America.
- President Thomas Jefferson - Gives Lisa advice at his memorial
(he suspects it's because the Lincoln memorial was busy).
- President John F. Kennedy - Appears in an early commercial
for Duff.

- Henry Kissinger - Homer finds his glasses in one of SNPP's
bathrooms after his visit to Springfield.
- Vladimir Lenin - The formerly on display Russian comes back
to life during Homer's command of a nuclear sub.
- President Abraham Lincoln - (1) Hole obstacle at the Pitch-N-Putt
mini golf course. (2) Part of Homer's gang of political powers when
Homer and Burns are trapped in a snow lodge.
- Charles Lindbergh - Burns' bear Bobo makes the trip with him
across the Atlantic.
- Sir Isaac Newton - Homer's guardian angel first appears as
the famous scientist before realizing that Homer has no idea who he
is (This leads to him transforming into a more recognizable form: Colonel
Klink).
- President Richard Nixon - (1) Appears in an early commercial
for Duff. (2) Had an honorary degree bestowed upon him by Sir Oinks
A Lot. (3) Commences Snake Clubbing Day one year. (4) Is called upon
by Satan (Ned Flanders) to try a case for Homer's soul. (5) Homer morphs
into him during part of his NASA run.
- President Ronald Reagan - Homer plays his Rappin' Ronnie tape.
- President Teddy Roosevelt - Brutality slain in an early Itchy
cartoon.
- Shakespeare - Homer shoots Zombie Shakespeare with a shotgun.
- Andy Warhol - The pop artist pops in during Homer's run as
a successful artist.
- President George Washington - (1) Fights Hans Sprungfeld (Jebediah
Springfield) after his assassination attempt. (2) Bart pulls down an
animatronic George Washington's pants at Duff Gardens.
- Walt Whitman- When Homer discovers that what he thought was
his mother's grave contains the legendary poet Homer trashes his grave.
