The collection appears to take on a life of its own between Easter and mid-July. This is of course when the collection appears in the classroom to be handled by the pupils I teach. It started out as a teaching aid but it is constantly growing as I find and add items to it.

Not all the items are originals, this is particularly true of the Poster collection. Where items are known to be either a REPRODUCTION or a FACSIMILE this is indicated.

A number of Civil Defence items are Post-War as Civil Defence again became a major concern in the 1950s and 60s. Again this is indicated or the items are separately listed.
