Hello my name is Ian K Whitehead a family man living in
Ossett,
West Yorkshire in the UK. I married my wife Ann from
Swallownest, South Yorkshire in 1966.
We have three children of whom two are married & we have one
lovely Grand daughter Louise
Ann who was born on the 30th of April 1997. She is the only
daughter to my youngest son David & his wife Deanne. Who also living in Ossett. My eldest
Son Simon
who is living in Datchet with his partner Sarah, Berkshire. My
daughter Jane
is who is 2nd eldest & the last to get married. Lives in Wakefield,
West Yorkshire. with her husband Brian who now a little boy called Sam
our second grandchild.
I'm also able to trace the Whitehead family origins
back to a George
Whitehead of Rothwell, West Yorkshire who was born in 1768.

Here is just a little bit about myself, I'm a Electrical
Commissioning Engineer for a local Engineering company who export
their products all over the world. So my work takes me to many
countries which include.

Photography as always been a love of mine but with
travelling a lot & being away from home for long periods,
I found that a lot of materials were wasted such photographic
paper & chemicals. But with the modern technology all that
has changed & I'm able to pursue my Hobby & give a small
service to others at the same time giving a little to help the
fight against CANCER.
Photographs have always given me pleasure to look back
& remember friends, places & happy memories. Just like
the family gathering for Mum & Dads Ruby wedding Anniversary in
1983
