Hethersett,s youth team started back in season 91/92, mainly from the old cub packs in the village. All but two of the boys were local and twenty boys played in the first season. The first game was against Drayton and despite losing 2-0 the boys enjoyed their first taste of youth football. We also had our first encounters with European football with a trip to Almere, Holland and the Canary Cup tournament at Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
