BOAT TRIP FOR GREG HADDEN
3RD FEBRUARY 2003

We have now confirmed the Boat Trip for Had's.  Boarding 7pm - sailing 8pm to 11pm from the Colwick Marina.  Tickets £8.50 each.  Tickets are now ready for collection from either Brenda Etches or Kerry Johnson (wife of Yeti).

Some of the persons who originally booked tickets for the boat trip have not collected them or worse still not paid for them.  As this deficit will come out of my own pocket, the trip may have to be cancelled if the tickets don't get sold.  Anyone that is interested can come and see me at the next home match. I will be standing in the foyer next to the merchandise stand where the programmes and 50/50 tickets are sold. Price is still the same £8.50.

PREVIOUS EVENTS

WEDNESDAY 28th JUNE 2001 - Bowling & Pool Tournament
All went well despite an effort to scupper proceedings by Twix throwing beer on the alley and a concerted effort by Wigwam to rid himself of future opposition by chasing them around the Air-Hockey table.  Spik blames his fall en route to bowl on Twix's beer but strangely took all credit for the resulting strike.

MOST HOME MATCHES
I can normally be found in the Bunkers Hill Inn from 5.30pm onwards before most home games.  Look for a '32' shirt drinking real ale with a ginger, beardy, beer monster (otherwise known as Ginger Monster because of this description of him on here).  Feel free to tap me on the shoulder.  Feel even freer to buy me a pint.

WEDNESDAY 31st MAY, 7pm
Held on the above date at the AMF, this hotly contested event was won jointly by Spik (rather suspicious if you ask me) and Slate Jnr (otherwise known as Slate#18's son, Andrew Slater).  Both were pronounced 'Bowling Gits Of The 2000 Summer Break' and the impromptu pool tourney that followed was also won by Spik after I sportingly potted the black as my third ball.  Revenge will be exacted in due course (see below).

SPIK'S PARTY - FRIDAY AUGUST 11th
We never actually decided who won the pistol-shooting competition, but we did work out that the primary loser was next door's shed.  Oops.  Also we discovered that my attempts to fire in a gangster stylee and Slate's impersonation of Mr Blonde in full flow didn't help our aims a great deal.  My excuse is that my aim was already somewhat away from the targets after Spik spilled my beer (he moves faster than you think, you know).  The Playstation ice hockey was similarly inconclusive, but I can proudly report that I beat a small girl in overtime.....just.  -  Girl#20
