Christ Church Assemblies of God, Pendlebury

Christ Church has a special place in our hearts and lives. The church was formerly known as Mount of Olives AoG, changing name when we moved into our present church building during 1989. It was whilst out singing Christmas carols that Anne & Les first met and romance blossomed as a result of them continuing to meet up at church. Anne & Les were married in the old Mount of Olives church.

The church is a Pentecostal one, affiliated to the Assemblies of God movement. The well beloved pastor of many years standing is Lawrie Cottam.

As members of an evangelical church we believe in the Bible as the incorruptible Word of God and try to live our lives according to the guidance we find within.
