Hello! I'm Becky, and I'm 3 years old. Today I went to the baby clinic with Mummy, Daddy, Aunty Melanie and my baby brother Mitchell. I met my friends there as well, so we had lots of fun together. Mitchell even met some of his friends there, Carl, Sally and Tiffany, with their Mummys and Daddys. Here is me and my family arriving at the clinic this morning.

First we went over to the booking-in desk, where Samantha asked me my name and how old I was. She also asked Mitchell, but I answered for him because he can't talk yet!

Marisa was very happy to see me, and we went and played in the play area with Jenny, Shannon, Tommy and Peter. Meanwhile, Mitchell tried to crawl around on the floor with Carl, giggling when Daddy starting ticking them!

Soon, Samantha called out Jenny's name, so she and her mummy, Kira, went with Danielle, into a room. I could just see through the door as Danielle moved the height marker onto the top of Jenny's head. I wonder if Jenny is taller than me?

Soon, Jenny came out again, with a big big smile on her face and a big big green star sticker on her dress. Then, Kirsten, the other nursery nurse came over to me with my Mummy and Daddy, and held my hand as we walked into another room.

I was really worried, because I knew that I was going to have my pre-school booster, but Kirsten said that there was nothing to worry about, because she gave babies and little children their jabs nearly every day. I sat on a little chair next to Kirsten, holding Mummy's hand very tightly. Kirsten asked how old I was, and when I was starting school. I told her I was 3 years old and I was starting school next year. Then she stood up and put her syringe down and gave me a star. I said she hadn't done anything, but she said she did it without me even noticing! I said to Mummy on the way out of Kirsten's room, "Having a jab is really very easy indeed!"

The next person to go in was Carl, Mitchell's best friend, then Marisa, my best friend, and then Tommy, Peter's best friend! Soon, they all came out with big coloured stars on their clothes, all looking really pleased. Silly Tommy had put his on his head, and Peter just couldn't stop laughing!

Finally, it was time for Mitchell to go in to Lorraine the Health Visitor, to be weighed. Mitchell was laid in the weighing basket, and Lorraine checked the display to see that Mitchell weighed exactly 8 kilograms. Over the other side of the room, I could see that Chelsie was having her eyes tested, and Natasha was lying on a couch with Danielle looking over her. Even the little tiny babies were in the room, Sally was being examined closely, while Kirsten was checking Tiffany's hearing. Also, Susie and Mikayla were being led IN to the room, while Kelly was running OUT of the room into the arms of her best friend, Shelly. What a BUSY room!!

Well! What a lovely day we had at the baby clinic. Mitchell is just having a little doze, he must be really exhausted. In fact, I am very tired as well, I think I'll just have forty winks. Bye bye, and don't forget, HAVING A JAB IS REALLY VERY EASY INDEED!

And bye bye from all the little ones!
