These are lists of Cumbrian family names appearing in two books covering the early period of Quakerism in the area.

Besse's work covers the period up to 1690. Ferguson's work continues into the early part of the 18th century. MANY LOCAL QUAKER FAMILIES ARE NOT MENTIONED IN EITHER WORK (The Beebys for example). Further references will be added to these lists in the future.
