This first picture was taken at a wedding (Francine and Alon's, thanks for asking) that Eli attended at the Great Synagogue in Jerusalem, when he was about 6 weeks old.

Eli's Daddy Kibi is shown in a supporting role.

(This was not the first simcha Eli attended by any means - see pictures below for more details, but he also attended Sheva Brachot for Dov and Yudit Frei when he was 2 weeks old, and a wedding at an airfield a little while later).

The Pidyon

This picture was taken at Eli's "Pidyon Ha'Ben" (Redemption of the firstborn) 8 December 1998. This took place at Off The Square restaurant which is across the street from where Kibi used to live. In the picture are Eli (held by Kibi), the attending Cohen, Paul Kloot, and Malcolm Isaacs (who wandered in while no-one was looking).

This is a more recent picture of Eli - aged about 6 1/2 months, on the floor at home. Eli now has learned to walk and waddles everywhere and has started to climb to precarious heights.
